VeDaKi

VeDaKi is an example of an experience, which has been highly recognized by now in many countries for its natural way of bringing together different cultures through improvisation. The band is operating from Amsterdam worldwide.
The name “Vershki Da Koreshki” is a metaphor: the plant - organism with bottom and top parts (roots and leaves) that has to develop in both directions in order to live. These directions are: traditions and improvisation. “Vershki” - improvisation - “Koreshki” - traditional music.

It is influenced by Traditional music (Africa, Russia, Tuva) , classical Indian, modern Russian / European music. It is a meeting of different cultures, rhythms, languages, energies.
